TO WHAT EXTENT DOES THE INTRODUCTION OF NEW MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES THREATEN THE EXISTING MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES?
New Media Technologies are technologies which are now replacing the old technologies or the existing ones. E.g, In the olden days, we have printed newspapers where people can have access or get the information of what is happening in and around them or listen to the news in the radio. New media technologies have completely turn over our world from what we have before to what we have now. The newspapers or radio programs have now taken steps to upgrade themselves where we now have e-news(internet news) and for radio entertainment programs we are now having various F.M stations (Freqency Modulated).
The threatenning of new media technologies to old media technologies does not have much to take into considerations because the existing media technologies or the old media technologies are the roots for new inventions. ’ Human wants are unlimited’ and this fact clearly tells us that one would surely like to upgrade oneself with the new tecnologies. E.g, The coming up of e-news(internet news) have not made the printed newspapers vanished but the media house or agency is just up grading themselve.

ReplyDeleteYou and I know that all these New Media Technologies just upgrading the old ones and the new ones can be more accessible than the old ones and they are having lots of positives besides the negative points.
upgrading is never a threat and will never replace the old one...its just a tactic people adopt to be in the Game..its simple..you dont upgrade your out of the race
